Why is this role important?
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Loblaw Media team. Loblaw Media is seeking a professional who can work in a fast-paced, fun and fluid environment. Working from our Toronto office, you will need to bring a creative mindset, be extremely detail oriented, strategic thinker, strong business acumen in your approach to building and growing long term business partnerships across brands and their partners.
As an Account Manager on our Media Sales team, you will use your experience managing and growing digital advertising solutions to Loblaw's’ largest marketers. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships, consultative approach and deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients working in collaboration with the Account Executive lead.
Revenue: Build, manage and grow spend with key clients and agency partners by delivering solutions that are unique and meet goals
Insights & Reporting: Develop post campaign reports through storytelling, to inform clients on the performance of their investment with Loblaw Media.
Proposals: Collaborate with account executives, sales planning and data leads throughout the RFP process to develop innovative, insight-driven campaign recommendations across Loblaw Media portfolio that will deliver ROI for customers
Project Management: Manage projects involving complex work streams and collaboration (internal/external)
Relationships: Develop and broaden high-level relationships built on trust, understand and identify contacts that manage multiple budgets
Product: Serve as the product expert by educating brands and agencies on Loblaw Media’s new and existing products, as well as best practices and tailored campaign optimization
Prospect: Prospect and penetrate organizations to drive alignment and influence executive and day-to-day contacts to execute against account plan
Performance: Deep dive into campaign performance, develop campaign KPI’s, measurement strategies, recognize performance trends, optimize campaigns to achieve results and provide upsell opportunities

Works well under pressure
5+ year’s account management experience in digital media, with a focus on data and insights
Strong business acumen
Experience using CRM systems
Previous experience working with clients and agencies
Retail experience is an asset
