Location: This position requires you to work out of your home office.
In the role of E Sales Representative, responsible for delivering remote sales calls in line with Brand strategy for NNCI products to Primary Care Physicians, Specialists and other targeted Health Care Professionals such as Diabetes & Obesity Nurse Educators, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists in both community and hospital settings.
The e Rep represents Novo Nordisk to selected customers within identified geographies to complement and support existing field representatives and to support rural geographies with resources and information related to NNCI products. Productivity in this position is dependent on close collaboration with a broad team at NNCI, including marketing and Field sales to ensure the mutual goal of successful call execution.
The format of the interaction for e Rep (webinars/phone calls) requires a high level of skills to engage and successfully interact with the HCP.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Delivers effective and focused sales calls via webinars on key targets (Primary Care Physicians, Specialists, Diabetes & Obesity Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Obesity Educators, Pharmacists and other allied HCPs)
Customizes sales calls addressing opportunities with, and needs of, targeted healthcare providers
Analyzes appropriate sales data to determine progress and identify areas of opportunity; incorporates into plan and provides regular reports to DBM
Identifies follow up opportunities for customers with resources and information
Liaises with local field teams to identify needs and opportunities to drive performance and productivity
Liaises with Pharmacists and HCPs remotely to ensure proper and optimal product usage
Responsible to cover HCPs Nationally requiring knowledge of workings in regional medical communities and availability for coverage of NNCI products in each province.
Participates in National Sales meetings, team sales meetings and training programs as required
Flexibility in executing field sales calls and providing conference support as required depending on business needs
Manage sample and material requests for HCPs
Explore opportunities for other e Rep technologies to meet evolving needs of customer
Leverage NNCI resources and programs to assist customers (e.g. e CHE)
Obtain and maintain a level of Product and Disease Knowledge in Diabetes and Obesity that enables meaningful conversations to ensure credibility and value is provided to HCPs
Education & Experience:
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Business Qualifications
0-1 years pharmaceutical sales experience
Must have strong MS Office Skills, including Word & Excel
