Job Overview
The Fabrication Boning Table Supervisor is responsible for meeting the daily production target and schedule, managing time and attendance of hourly associates, meeting Harmony Beef’s product specifications, and ensure that hourly employees adhere to Harmony Beef’s safety policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and control activities within the boning table to produce a quality product; effectively consider schedule, cost and waste
· Coach, motivate, and train hourly employees to develop skills needed to complete jobs in an effective and efficient manner
· Arrange production plans according to demand and monitor the quantity produced within the shift
· Suggest to Fabrication Superintendent improvements, Technics to enhance production efficiency
· Pre-audit daily production report
· Understand the fabrication production schedule by attending daily production meetings with the fabrication superintendent
· Effectively communicate action plan for day’s production schedule with hourly employees
· Ensure all product performed on table is done according to Harmony Beef Product Specifications and time studies
· Perform daily safety meetings with hourly employees and inspection of PPEs to ensure safety of workers.
· Ensure attendance and hours of workers are properly tracked for accurate and timely payment of wages.
Qualifications:
· 5 Years experience on meat cutting
· 3 Years of beef fabrication experience
· Comprehensive knowledge of beef product specifications
· Above average communication skills
· 1 year of supervisory experience
· High School Education or Equivalent
