Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and performing general labor tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with construction sites is a plus, but we are open to candidates eager to develop their skills in the industry.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools for construction tasks
- Support carpentry, framing, and demolition activities as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to assist with project layouts
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a safe work environment
- Aid in the installation of flooring, tile laying, and painting projects
- Assist with the installation of construction materials such as drywall, flooring, and fixtures
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety during operations
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools used in construction
- Knowledge of construction processes, including carpentry, and painting
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to construction trades and site safety protocols
