Position Description (Service Tech)
This position requires trouble-shooting, diagnostics and repairs of Marine engines, outboards and all other aspects related to marine products. Test all repairs made to ensure the unit is ready for use by the customer. Install and repair related marine accessories as required. We are also a full line BRP dealership so may be required to also work on Powersports products. General shop cleanliness and organization are also part of the job role.
Skills/Qualifications
- Must have Marine experience as a mechanic, Journeyman is preferred
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have attention to detail and self-motivated
- Must be an enthusiast of our products
- Must have Marine industry knowledge and a willingness to learn
- Must be dependable and have excellent time management skills
- Light lifting will be required
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills (LightSpeed experience and Diagnostic Software) are an asset
