Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in food and beverage service, and familiarity with POS systems. This role involves providing exceptional dining experiences by serving food and drinks, managing orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Prior restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are highly valued.
Duties
- Take and serve customer orders accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Provide attentive and friendly customer service, addressing guest needs promptly
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food handling, serving, and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Ensure all food industry regulations are adhered to, including proper serving techniques and responsible alcohol service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially with Square
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous cash handling and cash-out experience
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements. A current Serving it Right certificate is required.
- Must be 19 years or older to serve alcohol legally
