Job Overview:
We are a growing private practice in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, and forensic psychology in Mississauga, Ontario. Our focus is on providing evidence based and culturally informed services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We are a culturally diverse group of therapists and are looking to hire a Social Worker or Psychotherapist to join our team. Responsibilities
· Provide psychotherapy to couples, families, adolescents, adults
· Experience working with couple therapy, substance use disorders
· Develop treatment plans based on patient needs
· Collaborate with teams and able to provide evidence-based treatments
· Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely fashion
· High level of professional standards and ethics required
· Fluency in a second language is an asset
Qualifications
· Must be FULLY registered with The Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or FULLY registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). NOTE: qualifying therapists will NOT be considered
· M.S.W., M.A., or Ph.D. required
· 10 years experience in adolescents, family, adults and couple therapy
· Strong knowledge of diagnostic techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities (i.e., CBT, DBT, EFT, mindfulness, Gottman's, etc)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
