Responsibilities:
- Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprints, work closely with quality assurance to ensure parts meet all requirements
- Knowledge of Solid Works and Mastercam and computer programming
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings and offsets to optimize production while maintaining quality
- Knowledge of tooling and fixturing required to set up and run new parts
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines and parts as they arise
- Perform basic machine maintenance
- Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and read / create programs
Experience:
- Comfortability with tight tolerances and precision high value parts
- Previous machining experience working in a custom manufacturing setting is required
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
- Should have a positive and professional attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
