Power Works Electrical Ltd. is currently looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team.
We are a growing electrical contractor working on a mix of commercial, service, and construction projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, wants to learn the trade properly, and is willing to be part of a team.
Position
Apprentice Electrician
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will assist journeyperson electricians with a variety of electrical work, including:
- Installing conduit, cable, boxes, devices, lighting, panels, and electrical equipment
- Assisting with commercial, residential, and service projects
- Reading and understanding basic drawings and layouts
- Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials
- Following company safety procedures and site-specific requirements
- Working respectfully with coworkers, customers, site supervisors, and other trades
- Showing up on time and being prepared for the workday
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Registered Alberta electrical apprenticeship, or willingness to become registered
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to take direction and learn from experienced electricians
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commercial electrical experience is an asset, but not required

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime may be available depending on project requirements

- Edmonton area and surrounding communities
- Must be able to work on site
