QA Automation Specialist

Partner Software develops field applications for the utility industry. Our products incorporate maps, data, and your organization’s workflow to make work easier, efficient, and cost effective. We integrate with commonly used utility mapping, accounting, and outage software packages.

Our Research & Development team is seeking an Automated Quality Assurance Specialist who will contribute to key processes, such as the creation and execution of test cases, which will ensure the accuracy and reliable performance of our software for the benefit of our customers. In collaboration with existing team members, the QA Analyst will develop testing procedures and processes for manual and automated testing.

The QA Analyst must be willing and able to communicate across teams, coordinate with resources from all departments, develop testing strategies, and participate in Sprints to produce timely releases of our software.

Develop automated QA process to test pre-release features and verify functionality, content, usability and software compatibility
Partnering with product manager and developers to provide feedback and support to deliver on common goals
Provide quality assurance testing of product releases, verify the technical impact of those releases, and investigate all completed development to ensure deliverables meet client specifications before the final release

3+ years of QA experience testing commercial enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of Automation testing processes and best practices.
Experience in both high-level (system) and low-level software design.
Must be able to independently test the design and code of add-on features to existing code base
Experience writing documentation for end users and describing external APIs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using Jira and XRay.
Experience with Java and developing JUnit tests.
Experience testing database design solutions.
Experience with relational databases preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience with vendor to vendor testing.
Experience with AWS products.
Experience using version control software such as SVN or Git.
Experience using virtualization software
