Clean commercial kitchen exhaust hoods, filters, ducts, fans, and vents.
Remove grease, oil, carbon, and other buildup from exhaust systems.
Use pressure washers, degreasers, scrapers, and other professional cleaning equipment.
Cover and protect cooking equipment and surrounding areas before cleaning.
Set up ladders and cleaning equipment safely.
Inspect exhaust systems and report damaged or unsafe equipment.
Clean and sanitize work areas after completing each job.
Handle cleaning chemicals according to WHMIS and safety procedures.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Load and unload cleaning equipment and supplies.
Follow company procedures and complete assigned jobs within scheduled timelines.
Travel to different customer locations as required.
Previous kitchen exhaust, commercial, or industrial cleaning experience is an asset.
Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive work.
Comfortable working with ladders and in confined or elevated areas.
Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
Willingness to work evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends, as many jobs are completed outside restaurant operating hours.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver's licence is an asset.
