Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, following all safety guidelines
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders swiftly and accurately
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with integrity and precision
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, dining space, and food prep zones in accordance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during food service and preparation
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve guests efficiently without compromising quality
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
- Food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial for understanding food flow and guest needs
