Overview
Our client is seeking a hands‑on Raiser’s Edge Data Analyst for a 3‑month contract to support their philanthropic and donation services teams during a busy year‑end period. This role focuses on managing the donor database in Raiser’s Edge, including list pulls, queries, reporting, and gift processing support. The ideal candidate can step in quickly, take ownership of day‑to‑day database work, and support high‑volume operational needs with minimal ramp‑up. The role is hybrid in Edmonton, requiring two days onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day donor database activities in Raiser’s Edge.
Process gift adjustments, batching, and imports.
Maintain funds, appeals, packages, user profiles, and coding structures.
Identify and support ongoing database cleanup and data quality initiatives.
Ensure CASL compliance and accurate data practices.
Build and manage queries and list pulls for, direct mail and email campaigns. events and donor communications and recognition and annual reporting
Partner with internal teams to define data needs, timelines, and segmentation.
Export and format data into clear, usable outputs.
Support improvements to recurring list pull processes.
Support donor, donation, and revenue reporting as needed.
Prepare donor giving summaries and related reports.
Assist the Donation Services team during peak periods with gift processing.
Support Finance with audit preparation and posting gift batches as required.
Qualifications
Experience working with donor databases, fundraising systems, CRM platforms, or related enterprise data systems.
Raiser's Edge experience is considered a strong asset; however, candidates with comparable CRM, donor management, fundraising, alumni, membership, or constituent database experience are encouraged to apply.
Proven experience with data queries, reporting, list pulls, segmentation, and database management.
Experience supporting nonprofit, charitable, fundraising, alumni, member-based, or donor-focused organizations is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume operational work.
Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI experience is considered an asset.
