Do you have exceptional customer service skills and experience in driver training and education?
We’re looking for a Driver Examiner in Saskatoon who shows compassion and empathy while testing new drivers for our roads.
We offer the essentials – a competitive salary, great pension, and excellent employer-paid family benefits. But we also provide opportunities. And the opportunity to come to work every day to a job you’re passionate about and that leaves you feeling happy and fulfilled.
You should consider applying if you:
- Are confident behind the wheel and committed to road safety.
- Have strong observational skills and can make fair, unbiased decisions.
- Can stay calm and focused in unpredictable or high-pressure situations.
- Are comfortable giving clear, direct feedback – both positive and corrective.
Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in a relevant field of study, like Business, or a defined equivalency, and 1 – 2 years of experience in driver examination and/or driver instruction and customer service.
This role also requires possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s licence, a satisfactory driving record, and five years of Class 5 driving experience with at least two years of post-Graduated Driver’s Licensing (GDL) program driving experience.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain the following licences/endorsements:
- Class 1 license
- Air brake endorsement
- Motorcycle endorsement OR successful completion of all written motorcycle exams
