We are seeking an Associate Manager, Continuous Improvement, who is interested in improving departmental processes, assessing quality of service and workflows, and finding opportunities for efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Manager, Operations Seneca Works, you will also be responsible for various project lifecycles and overseeing the plan, project scope, design, execution and completion of projects.
Here's What’s on Your Horizon
Strategic Project Planning and Stakeholder Liaison
- Define project scopes, plans, goals, and deliverables that supports business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and effectively communicates project expectations in a timely and clearly manner
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and makes recommendations on the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle
Project & Relationship Management
- Lead, co-ordinate, monitor and execute various departmental and cross-departmental projects, ensuring project timelines, milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Liaise with various subject matter experts, internal and external stakeholders in order to develop and meet project goals (before, during and after project plan) as well as strengthen business relationships
- In consultation with management team and other relevant stakeholders, make recommendations for revising or pivoting project milestones, deliverables and goals as necessary
- Create and deliver project plan and presentations as required, along with progress and closure reports
Continuous Improvement and Strategic Analysis
- Optimize business processes in order to eliminate menial and manual work
- Develop and update proper documentation (SOPs, manuals, training materials) and tools on new or updated processes
- Introduce new tools that will aid in the enhancement of workflows, ensuring alignment with latest methodologies and techniques
- Collect multi-source data and conduct thorough analysis of departmental processes and operations in order to assess current structure
- Use relevant data, industry trends and research, identify gaps, areas of improvement and opportunities for optimization within department
- Use relevant technology and tools, test optimization and measure success of projects by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Continuously monitor processes before, during and after implementation in order to ensure maximum efficiency and competitive advantage
Join Our Team
Whether you hold a post-secondary credential or have the equivalency of 3 years plus experience supporting various projects, we're looking for someone with a proven track record of experience with project management and/or improving business processes.
PMP and CBAP certifications would be an asset. Additionally, possessing analytical skills, adept diplomatic relationship management, and collaborative abilities, and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
