Tint Express is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Auto Electrician / Car Electronics Installer to join our growing team. We specialize in vehicle customization and electronic upgrades. The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more automotive electronic services and be willing to learn additional skills.
Candidates with experience in any of the services listed below are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Install and hardwire dash cameras.
- Install Android and Apple CarPlay dashboard screens.
- Install ambient lighting systems.
- Install starlights, underglow lights, ring lights, and other custom lighting upgrades.
- Install speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and sound systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to aftermarket accessories.
- Safely remove and reinstall interior panels and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure installations meet Tint Express quality standards.
- Work closely with team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Follow all company safety procedures and installation guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive electrical work or aftermarket accessories is preferred.
- Experience in any one or more of the following is considered an asset:
- Dash cam installations with hardwiring
- Android and Apple CarPlay screens
- Ambient lighting
- Starlights and underglow lighting
- Ring lights
- Speakers, amplifiers, and sound systems
- Car audio installations
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Automotive certifications are an asset but are not mandatory.
