Access Community Therapists is an established company providing a wide range of community-based health services, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and specialized nursing in the Lower Mainland and throughout BC. The Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Office Manager/HR professional to manage our administrative team and HR operations. You'll work closely with our management team while independently managing day-to-day office and HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures smooth office operations and procedures, working with Program Managers to confirm administration team is following contract parameters
- Supervise our in-office admin team
- Use our accounting software to process expense reimbursements and assist with the payroll process. Maintain digital accounting files and track benefits
- Manage clinician recruitment processes including posting jobs, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
- Onboarding and offboarding procedures
- Maintain HR files, process government forms, and ensure compliance with BC Employment Standards
- Build relationships with remote clinicians and be the point of contact for their employment or benefit questions
- Support company culture through special projects, event planning and team newsletters
- Meet regularly via telephone or videocall with team members and management
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of HR or management experience, preferably in healthcare or professional services
- Knowledge of BC Employment Standards and CRA requirements
- Organization, resourcefulness, and ability to coordinate across teams
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have:
- Experience in healthcare settings
- HR certification or relevant education
