As a Customer Service Clerk/Cashier at Les Délices Lafrenaie, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming Customers: Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the bakery.
Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders for baked goods, cakes, and other items using our point-of-sale system.
Payment Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate change to customers.
Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries, provide information about our products, and assist with special requests or custom orders.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area and surrounding workspace clean and organized.
Stock Management: Assist with restocking bakery items, ensuring that the display is appealing and fully stocked.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support during busy periods.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
