Pickles Pumps is a family-owned First Nations business proudly serving Nipissing First Nation and the surrounding communities. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Store Manager to oversee daily operations and help support the continued growth and success of our business.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage staff and inventory while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the store
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts
- Order products, supplies, and equipment as required
- Receive, input, and maintain accurate inventory and sales records
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and organized
- Supervise and support store staff
- Address employee performance concerns and administer discipline when necessary
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and employees
- Assist customers and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Prepare reports and communicate operational needs to ownership
Qualifications
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience with inventory management and ordering systems
- Proficient with computers and basic business software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of pumps, plumbing, hardware, or related industries is considered an asset

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
