Responsibilities:
· Drive defensively from the plant to the job site and back
· Adhere to instructions for each given day
· Capture any defects identified through the day on a work order, so they can be fixed at the shop. Notify the dispatcher as well
· Drive the truck under the silo/stockpile/excavator for loading
· Ensure the load is secure and no product coming over the sideboard, put the Tarp on to completely cover the load
· Complete pre –trip inspection at the beginning of the shift and fill Schedule 1 Booklet. Any defects identified go on the work order for mechanics to fix
· Complete a post trip inspection at the end of the shift and document identified defects
Requirements:
· Commercial license with air brake endorsement (DZ) is required. A clean drivers abstract and ability to drive manual transmission
· 1-2 years’ DZ/AZ driving experience with some experience in winter maintenance.

· Effective communication skills and ability to accurately document daily activities, incident reports and deficiency logs
· Flexibility to work long hours and assigned shifts during days, nights and weekends with little notice, especially during winter
· Work/drive outside in inclement weather conditions
