We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Sushi Chef to join our fast-paced culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare large volumes of sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, and other Japanese dishes to Kibo’s exact recipe and quality standards.
- Expertly slice, butcher, and portion fresh fish and seafood.
- Prepare and season sushi rice consistently.
- Package and organize prepared food items for safe distribution to various Kibo locations.
- Maintain a pristine, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Monitor ingredient inventory, rotate stock (FIFO), and minimize food waste.
- Comply strictly with all health, safety, and food sanitation regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum [Insert Number] years of experience as a Sushi Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, catering, or central kitchen setting.
- Skills: Exceptional knife skills and a deep understanding of fish breakdown and handling.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Japanese ingredients, flavor profiles, and food safety standards.
- Certifications: Valid Food Handler’s Certificate is required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., bags of rice).
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse kitchen.
