Job Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to support our Winnipeg operations.
This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, trade counter sales, order processing, inventory coordination, and operational support. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of our Winnipeg operations team and will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing customer orders, coordinating inventory activities, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying organized, taking ownership of their responsibilities, and working in a small-team environment where every person makes a direct impact.
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Processing
- Provide professional and responsive service to walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and email inquiries.
- Process customer orders from inquiry to completion, including order entry, invoice creation, payment processing, and customer pickup coordination.
- Provide pricing, product availability, and product recommendations.
- Prepare quotations and support customers with product selection and order inquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer and transaction records.
- Help ensure customers receive prompt, reliable, and professional service.
Inventory & Operations Support
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organized warehouse and showroom areas.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock accuracy.
- Support inventory replenishment and product organization.
- Communicate with head office regarding inventory requirements, customer orders, and operational matters.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and professional working environment.
Ownership & Accountability
- Manage day-to-day customer service and operational activities with a high degree of independence and accountability.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Follow through on customer requests, operational tasks, and commitments to completion.
- Work collaboratively with team members while demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in daily decision-making.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, trade counter sales, industrial distribution, building supplies, equipment rental, warehouse operations, or a related industry.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with contractors, tradespeople, industrial customers, and walk-in customers.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and personal accountability.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, email, Microsoft Office, and business software applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to safely lift and move products as required.

Pay: $48,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
