By keeping service levels high and continually growing their business one account at a time, Tire Chalet has grown to the single largest seasonal tire storage provider in Western Canada. Future plans have expansion into Ontario in the coming years. In order to do so however, Tire Chalet will execute the plan on the strength of great people in each location they open.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Wire Guided Narrow Aisle Order Picker
- Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Pick and stage orders to be shipped
- Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience Order Picker
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Must own steel toe safety shoes
- Be on time, have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
