Job Summary
Medicine Hat! We are seeking a dedicated and passionate dishwasher to join our culinary team. Established in 2021, The Whiskey District is Medicine Hats steak and spirit lounge. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in dishwashing and kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork, leadership, and a passion for the food industry. As well as following health and safety standards in the dish area.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Wash dishes according to health and safety standards
- Support senior kitchen staff in all aspects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Ensure proper food handling practices are followed to maintain food safety.
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Experience
- Dishwashing experience considered an asset
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
