Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (core hours Mon – Fri 930am – 230pm)
Location: Hybrid | Periodic in-office in Burnaby – on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (further in-office details below)
Salary: $58,000 – $64,000 (pay range explained below)
The Role
The Program Administrator plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of MABC's member-facing programs. This role ensures members have access to high-impact programs and grant opportunities that support their professional growth, while also managing application workflows, and ensuring timely, accurate communications with midwives and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct assistance and support to members regarding MABC programs
- Engage with members to deliver program support, guidance and connect them with relevant resources
- Administer MABC's programs, including application support, eligibility review, decision-making, and outcome documentation
- Preparing reports on program activity, outcomes, and financial information for leadership and governance purposes
- Draft professional correspondence including program decisions, policy clarifications, and updates
- Monitor program budgets and track expenditures, including reviewing invoices, payments, and reimbursements
- Provide guidance to the Program Manager on escalated or complex member cases
- Provide guidance on feedback received by members to Program Manager
- Follow procedural documentation, program guides, and eligibility frameworks
What You Bring
- Diploma in social sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required
- Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in administrative roles demonstrating strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, preferably in healthcare or a not-for-profit organization
- Demonstrates comfort and proficiency in administrative functions
- Advanced computer software skills in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Forms) and virtual environment are required
- Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills and good judgment necessary to coordinate many interdependent activities
- Effectively manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines
- Ability to effectively resolve issues and maintain positive working relationships

Compensation & Benefits
Salary of $58,000 – $64,000 - The Pay Range shows the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full-time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements as well as internal equity.
