Independent Contractor position – Must Have Your Own Vehicle

Pet Parade Plus is expanding and we’re looking for reliable Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters to join our professional pet care team. With over 25 years of trusted service, we’re proud to provide exceptional care for pets and peace of mind for their families.
Requirements:
- Own a dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Reside in Kingston or Amherstview
- Minimum 1 year of direct animal care experience (vet clinic, pet sitting, kennel work, dog daycare, etc.)
- Smartphone with data plan (our scheduling and client updates are app-based)
- Comfortable using technology and online scheduling tools
- Able to clear a CPIC background check
- Responsible, consistent, and punctual – reliability is key!
- Weekday daytime availability (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM), plus occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Daily dog walking and exercise visits
- In-home pet sitting for cats, dogs, and small pets
- Overnight stays in client homes as needed
- Provide attentive, loving care and follow client instructions
- Share updates and photos with pet parents through our app
- Drive between appointments (paid travel time included)
