SilverLine Exterior Solutions is a growing exterior renovation company specializing in vinyl windows, exterior doors, and siding. We manufacture vinyl windows at our own facility in Port Coquitlam and provide professional installation services throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
We are looking for a responsible, organized, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service to join our team. This role is mainly focused on inside sales, customer communication, lead follow-up, quote preparation, and sales support, with some customer service and office administration duties.
Key ResponsibilitiesInside Sales & Customer Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Follow up with new leads and existing customers in a timely and professional manner
- Ask customers the right questions to understand their window, door, siding, or renovation project needs
- Provide basic product information, pricing guidance, installation process information, and project timelines
- Book appointments for outside sales representatives
- Follow up on quotes and help move potential customers forward in the sales process
- Maintain professional communication with customers from first contact to order confirmation
Quote Preparation & Sales Support
- Read basic measurements, drawings, and blueprints to assist with quote preparation
- Prepare customer quotes and related sales documents
- Review quote details for accuracy before sending them to customers
- Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams when needed
- Update customer records, quote information, CRM, and order files accurately
- Support the sales team with pricing, product details, and customer follow-ups
Customer Service & Complaint Handling
- Respond to customer concerns or complaints in a calm, professional, and respectful manner
- Collect clear information from customers and document the issue accurately
- Forward service, warranty, or installation-related issues to the appropriate team members
- Follow up with customers when needed to ensure their concerns are being handled properly
- Help maintain a positive customer experience before, during, and after the sales process
Office Administration
- Maintain organized customer files and sales documents
- Assist with general office administration related to sales and customer service
- Monitor emails and forward customer requests to the appropriate team members
- Assist with scheduling, document preparation, filing, and internal coordination
- Provide general support to management and office staff as needed
Qualifications
- Previous inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience preferred
- Strong phone communication skills and a professional customer service attitude
- Comfortable following up with customers and asking project-related questions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate quotes
- Able to read basic measurements, drawings, or blueprints
- Experience in windows, doors, siding, renovation, construction, or building materials is an asset
- Ability to handle customer concerns or complaints professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Well organized and able to multitask in a busy office environment
What We Offer
- Base salary: $55,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience
