Summary
The Project & Warehouse Assistant (PWA) will be responsible for supporting the operations of the company. The PWA will assist in the supplies and project coordination required to rapidly complete a customer’s project.
Responsibilities
While working with the Chief Operations Officer and Project Managers, the PWA will assist with the following;
Project Management Support
- Support, facilitate and coordinate the work of multiple crews alongside the Project Managers, to meet compliance with project schedules and quality standards. Examples, assisting crews with loading of trucks and trailers, helping crews find supplies needed for the job, etc.
- Collect material/supply sign out sheets and enter into job management software.
- Create purchase orders for materials/supplies and ensure invoices are accurate and applied to the correct job.
- Purchase, coordinate and schedule delivery for materials and supplies to be staged for projects.
- Support Project Managers with job files as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation flow from job sites to administration.
Warehouse Support
- Ensure inventory items are stocked and tracked. Update job management software with new items/prices.
- Track, schedule and ensure maintenance schedules are followed for fleet and equipment.
- Operate a forklift
- Manage yard, dumpsters, sea-can and warehouse storage & maintenance.
- Coordinate and receive transport deliveries (i.e. materials/supplies)
- Coordinate/complete the maintenance & cleaning schedules for fleet vehicles, equipment and tools.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in after-hours on call rotation (as a technician/helper).
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education & Experience
- Strong knowledge of building construction and restoration industry best practices.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s G License is required with a Driver’s Abstract in good standing
- High school diploma (or GED) required and/or Trade related accreditation an asset
- Clean Criminal Record
- Working Knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Ability to operate a forklift asset (training provided)
- Ability to haul trailers (dump, enclosed, flat bed)
Technical & Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software.
- Proficiency in internet searching

- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with employees, clients and subcontractors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Work Environment
- Office and warehouse environments.
- On-site work at commercial and residential construction job sites.
- Exposure to environments with noise, dust, debris, and potentially hazardous materials.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
