As the selected candidate you will:
- Prepare structural steel models, connections, fabrication drawings, erection drawings and standard details.
- Communicate with clients, erectors and architect/engineer on all project related questions.
- Submit Requests for Information as required.
- Provide reliable and consistent product for the shop and field
- Follow one or more projects from estimate through detailing and fabrication to installation at the job site.
- Perform other duties as required by your supervisor.
- Responsible for field measuring as required on projects per site conditions and schedules.
- Responsible for the proper importation of KISS Files into FabSuite on assigned projects.
QUALIFICATIONS * Must have the ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents as well as contract specifications.
- Capable of following design standards, company guidelines and best field practices.
- 3+ years’ experience detailing structural and miscellaneous steel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and SDS/2
- Knowledge of Tekla EPM is an asset.
- Knowledge of weld details.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ensure that the drawings are reviewed for accuracy.
- Ability to successfully meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
