JOB TITLE: TEAM LEADER
Reports to: Lead Manager and Business Owner
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The supervision of all cleaning team members with a focus on their performance in terms of HCAS standards of cleanliness and quality of work. The Team Leader is responsible for providing direction to the Team; allocating tasks to house cleaners based on experience level; reviewing Team’s work at each clean to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed and nothing is missed. Team Lead communicates any issues regarding damage in the home or time allotted for the job and is the main point of contact for the Client and Team Supervisor. The right candidate will have extensive training and experience for this role. Performs all house cleaner duties in addition to the responsibilities below.
HOURS OF POSITION:
Must be available between the hours of:
9:00am to 5:30 pm - Monday to Friday *NO EXCEPTIONS*
and have reliable transportation
Work Hours per week range from 20 to 30 hours
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes Direction and Communicates with Team Manager
- Manages HCAS house cleaners in the day to day operations and reviews the work performed by cleaners before leaving the home and at the end of each job
- Responsible for training house cleaners on specific job systems, routines, supplies, safety and equipment
- Handles feedback and suggestions from clients and reports to Team Supervisor
- Performs walk through of the space with client before and after
- Takes Before and After photos of the work areas
- Responsible for safekeeping of client keys
- Leadership and Organizational skills; takes initiative to problem solve and help where needed
- The Team Leader makes sure to let the client(s) know if needing extra time to complete tasks; or team would like be arriving early or running late for a scheduled clean
- Assist with company marketing and promotion of company services
- Available to work within Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Harrison Hot Springs and Agassiz
Pay: $22.50-$26.50 per hour
