Role Summary

Reporting to the Marketing Director, Global Alliances, this role will be a key member of the Global Alliances and Global Clients and Markets teams. The Marketing Manager will develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that address the agreed business plan and priorities. This includes development of the necessary marketing plans and assets for our global marketing flagship programs, as well as working with colleagues in sector and functional marketing teams to promote our capabilities and support revenue generation. This is a challenging global role that will involve day-to-day liaison with KPMG leadership, Global Alliance Directors, key global alliance partners, national practice alliance marketing teams, and key third parties. All outputs and activities must be to the highest possible standards and the successful candidate will need to display exceptional communication and influencing skills, as well as attention to detail.

What you will do:
Key Accountabilities

Marketing strategy and execution

Plan and implement a variety of marketing and communications activities across the marketing mix aligned to and in support of our global strategic priorities
Manage marketing plans and key stakeholder relations to execute our key marketing campaigns on time and to budget
Working with inputs from global leadership, assume end to end ownership of the creative development of materials including design, editorial content, thought leadership, digital materials (e.g. infographics and social media content), and other client facing materials
Effectively communicate campaign elements to internal and external audiences to build awareness and adoption for campaign and service/solution activities

Internal ‘network’ collaboration

Working closely with Global Alliance Directors, global and national practice marketers, and the global KPMG Alliances team, as well and Global Internal and External Communications teams to support network engagement and adoption of marketing and communication content
Collaborate with functional global and local marketing and communications professionals, ensuring there is appropriate discussion and alignment of common-cause issues and insights
Identify and leverage programs and resources in key countries which can be tailored/elevated into global campaigns
Effectively access and leverage the wider Marketing Shared Services resources e.g. Brand Management, Digital Marketing Services, Event Management, PR, Knowledge Management, Marketing Central Services comprising a mix of in-house, outsourced and off-shored resources and services

Marketing measurement and enhancement

Invest time and effort into constantly improving the creative look, feel and positioning of our marketing materials to refine the reader experience
Manage KPIs as outlined by business goals
Review, analyze and interpret campaign data, financial data, reports, and pipelines

Knowledge management

Facilitate the sharing of information, knowledge and leading practices across industries, functions, and geographies
Collaborate in promoting marketing initiatives across sectors, functions and geographies
Disseminate information via targeted distribution channels

What you bring to this role:
Experience & Knowledge

Demonstrable success in developing and implementing complex (and preferably international) marketing programs – experience of working in a professional services environment will be a distinct advantage
Experience creating integrated, issue-based content marketing campaigns that leverage a variety of platforms including digital and social media for promoting relationships and generating revenue
Experience in B2B solution / partnership marketing and/or working for or directly with major technology corporations preferred
Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders
Experience of the above in a global, matrix context would be very advantageous
Confident and assertive with excellent influencing and persuasion skills
Significant personal presence and excellent networking skills
Flexible and able to operate in the context of very different cultures and national approaches
Ability to manage inputs from multiple stakeholders and sources
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Technical Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

A marketing professional with at least five or more years of progressive marketing experience, including project management and preferably with strengths in the digital space
Experience working in professional services firms or similar corporate environment with a strong understanding of how relationship-based selling works within a matrix organization
Demonstrable success in developing and implementing integrated on and offline marketing campaigns to increase brand equity, develop relationships with clients/prospects that lead to revenue generation.
Experience working with senior management and solid project management skills with the ability to manage virtual project teams with varied skills and backgrounds
Excellent written and communication skills
Creative problem solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
