Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced AZ Driver (must have USA visa this is cross border job ) to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to ensure timely deliveries and excellent service. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are encouraged to apply, as these skills will enhance operational effectiveness.
Duties
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safety compliance
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including freight handling and inventory management
Experience
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for routine vehicle maintenance
- Proven ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and cargo handling
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
