Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic to join our shop.
The Candidates Main Activates will be forklifts, vehicles, saws, steel benders and packaging line maintenance / upkeep.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing a variety of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance knowledge, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment. Forklifts, Fleet maintenance, saws, steel benders, drill presses and more.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct electrical work including low voltage systems, industrial electrician tasks.
- Operate welding equipment, and other specialized machinery following safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Follow safety procedures related to industrial maintenance, including working with high-voltage systems when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including low voltage systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English for documentation and teamwork purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
