Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electronics Repair Technician with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of industrial electronic equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with servo drives, VFDs, HMIs, PLCs, and power supplies from major manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair servo drives, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, power supplies, and industrial circuit boards.
- Troubleshoot down to component level using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes (Huntron), multimeters, function generators, and power analyzers.
- Work with brands such as Siemens, Fanuc, ABB, Indramat, Allen Bradley, Yaskawa, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, and more.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and circuit diagrams to diagnose faults efficiently.
- Perform precision soldering and rework PCB components including resistors, capacitors, transistors, ICs, and microprocessors.
- Use surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques to replace defective parts.
- Perform preventative maintenance, functional testing, and calibration of industrial electronics.
- Document repairs, testing procedures, and findings accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
✅ Proven experience in industrial electronic repair.
✅ Hands-on expertise with major brands like Siemens, Fanuc, ABB, Indramat, Allen Bradley, and others.
✅ Excellent soldering skills for component-level repairs (SMT & through-hole).
✅ Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on component-level diagnostics and repair.
✅ Experience using oscilloscopes (Huntron), multimeters, and other test equipment.
✅ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts.
✅ Familiarity with automated test equipment and circuit board rework techniques.
✅ Experience in a fast-paced repair environment is a plus.
✅ Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
