Black & McDonald is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant in Trenton, Ontario. This position is responsible for maintaining, organizing and coordinating the administrative duties in the office environment at Black and McDonald CFB 8 Wing Trenton office and will report directly to the Facility Manager. Training will be provided.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Contact subcontractors for demand calls
Understand and start security process with potential subcontractors
Assist with getting security badge documentation
Manages the subcontractor reports for deficiencies and recommendations
Completes the day to day JDE activities including new work orders, assigning/reassigning work orders, monitor open/closed work orders and purchase orders
Sign and sign out subcontractors as they arrive and depart site
Issues work orders and purchase orders to field techs as required
Ship out packages and receive packages as required
Order office materials as required

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to obtain and hold security clearance
Post-secondary education in a related field such as Office Administration or relevant experience
2-3 years' experience in administration. Subcontractor coordination and record management would be an asset
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
