Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated person to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves working on various building projects, including siding, carpentry, interior work and roofing. Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately.
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
- Install shingles on house and sheds.
- Conduct woodworking tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components.
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and other construction equipment effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and within specifications.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of siding installation and carpentry techniques
- Ability to operate machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of woodworking principles and hand tool usage
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks
