We are currently seeking a Production Extruder Operator to support our extrusion manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to monitor production lines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load raw materials into extrusion machines and maintain continuous production flow
- Monitor extrusion equipment and production parameters
- Perform regular quality checks and measurements on finished products
- Identify quality defects and report issues promptly
- Pack and label finished products according to work orders
- Complete production documentation and inspection records
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with material handling and forklift operation when required
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to operate and monitor production equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Ability to read production orders and quality specifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred
- Previous extrusion experience is an asset
- Fluency in English is an asset
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Flexibility to work day, afternoon, or night shifts as needed
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
