Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and available for food preparation and service. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary items are readily available for meal service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain a positive attitude while working efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking processes is advantageous
