Job Summary:
We are seeking a Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Journeyman Automotive Technician, you will join a team of experienced technicians to utilize and develop your skills in automotive repair and maintenance. This is a great opportunity to enhance your career in the automotive industry and gain hands-on experience in a privately-owned setting where our technicians get to continuously progress their skills.
Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Diagnose and repair vehicles alongside our team of experienced technicians
- Read and understand schematics and technical manuals to ensure proper repair procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- To educate yourself with the vast resources we have available
Skills:
- Advanced mechanical knowledge and understanding of all automotive systems
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Good communication skills for interacting with team members
Requirements (All Are Mandatory):
- A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License
- Red Seal Automotive Journeyman Certification
- A willingness to learn and grow
- Three years of proven insurance history within Canada
- Legally able to work in Canada - Only Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered
