We are currently seeking an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (Industrial Seamstress) to support the production of A.C.E. units and other engineered industrial fabric assemblies. This role involves high-volume, precision-based sewing of heavy-duty technical materials in a manufacturing environment.
Role Accountabilities:
- Read and interpret production work orders, drawings, and sewing instructions
- Manufacture A.C.E. units and other industrial fabric assemblies according to specifications
- Operate industrial sewing machines to cut, mark, assemble, and sew heavy-duty materials
- Follow approved patterns and specifications; assist in adjusting patterns when required
- Accurately measure, align, and assemble components prior to sewing
- Perform sewing of multi-component fabric systems with consistency and quality
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections to ensure all products meet company standards
- Perform basic machine maintenance (e.g., changing needles, cleaning, thread setup, minor adjustments)
- Select correct materials, fasteners, and thread based on production requirements
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety procedures
- Follow all facility policies, safe work practices, and quality control standards
- Complete required production documentation and job tracking forms accurately
- Support continuous improvement in production efficiency and product quality
- Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Completion of a sewing or textile production course is an asset
- Proven experience operating industrial sewing machines in a production environment
- Ability to read and follow technical patterns and work instructions
- Basic understanding of sewing machine mechanics
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good hand-eye coordination and visual accuracy (corrective vision acceptable)
- Strong time management and reliability
