Summary
This is a dual-role position that combines receiving and inventory responsibilities with dining room support and basic facility maintenance. The Receiving/Busser Associate is responsible for accepting and organizing deliveries, maintaining inventory and storage areas, supporting front-of-house operations by clearing and resetting tables, and performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks. This role requires flexibility to transition between back-of-house receiving duties and front-of-house guest support while helping maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Organize, label, and store inventory in designated storage areas.
- Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and storage areas.
- Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset dining tables promptly.
- Assist servers with food delivery, beverage refills, and guest support.
- Dispose of waste and recycling, and keep dining and service areas clean.
- Perform routine maintenance duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning floors.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, dining furniture, and service stations.
- Report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, changing garbage liners, restocking supplies, and ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and presentable.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain efficient operations..
