We are looking for a Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, trimming, and finishing. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints and have a strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. The Carpenter must also be able to work independently and as part of a team in order to complete projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Cut materials to size using hand tools such as saws, chisels, and planes.
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power tools.
- Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props using nails, screws, staples, dowels, or glue.
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, door frames, and trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and other carpentry tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
