Guitarworks - Market Mall is seeking a passionate and energetic Violin Teacher to inspire and nurture the musical talents of students across various age groups. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging violin lessons tailored to students’ skill levels, from beginners to advanced players
- Create a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that motivates students to excel
- Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and age groups, including early childhood education
- Incorporate music theory, technique exercises, and repertoire selection into lessons to build well-rounded musicianship
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for children and young learners
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate student progress and discuss goals for musical development
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching violin, with a strong background in music education
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, including those in early childhood education settings
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and experience creating engaging lesson plans
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages
- Prior experience working in educational or extracurricular settings is preferred but not mandatory
