Job Summary
Signature Precision Fabrication Ltd. is seeking a Machine Operator to support fabrication and production activities within our facility. This role is responsible for operating a variety of machines to produce high-quality metallic and non-metallic parts. Additional equipment may include industrial saws, punch presses, and robotic cells.
The Machine Operator plays a hands-on role in maintaining safe, efficient, and productive operations, while also supporting general production activities such as assembly, weld cleaning, packaging, and material handling as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- · Operate production equipment safely and efficiently
- · Follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- · Perform assembly, finishing, and general production tasks
- · Conduct basic quality inspections and complete required documentation
- · Package and label finished products
- · Support material handling and inventory activities
- · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- · Assist other departments and production areas as required
Qualifications
- · High school diploma or equivalent required
- · 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments required
- · Experience operating CNC or similar production equipment considered a strong asset
- · Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
- · Ability to read instructions, drawings, and perform basic measurements considered an asset

Working Conditions
- · Standing for extended periods
- · Repetitive tasks and manual handling
- · Lifting materials (35 lbs or more)
- · Bi-Weekly rotating shifts (days and afternoons)
- o Day shift: 6:45am-3:00pm
- o Afternoon shift: 2:45pm-11:00pm - Includes a $0.50/hr shift premium.
- · Exposure to a manufacturing environment (noise, machinery, moving equipment)
