Full Job Description
We are looking for a full time Welder within our Machine shop. Welders must have experience in Fabrication, with the ability to assemble custom frames and stands. We are looking for independent individuals who can also work as part of the team building custom machines.

Welder Duties:
- Read blueprints, drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Cut materials to fit and check dimensions and thicknesses
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Weld/join metal and other materials into a wide range of structures
- Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Welder Requirements:
- Proven experience as welder (MIG)
- 6-years relevant experience .
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures an asset (TIG, MIG, etc..)
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
- Deftness and attention to detail
- Available for full-time day shifts possible afternoon rotating shift as well.
Pay: $19.00-$32.50 per hour
