Position: Sr. Coordinator, Business Development - Quest to Conquer Cancer

Hours: 35 hours per week
Status: Temporary Full-time (12 Months)
We are seeking a passionate and outgoing Senior Co-Ordinator of Business Development who considers themselves a gaming space knowledge expert to help develop new and manage existing relationships with Quest corporate partners.

About the Role
The Sr. Co-ordinator on Quest to Conquer Cancer, is a newly created position that will drive corporate and community partnerships for Quest to Conquer Cancer, a live streaming fundraiser built for the gaming community. Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships, this individual will be responsible for developing fundraising and engagement strategies for different types of organizations looking to join Quest. This individual will assist in managing ongoing relationships between new and existing partners and help bring brand activations to life with Quest sponsors. This role requires a big-picture thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset who can collaborate with multiple stakeholders while demonstrating strong cultural awareness.
You will:
Identify companies, streamers and other fundraising teams that would be a good fit for Quest to Conquer Cancer and Princess Margaret’s mission as teams sponsors or participants
Develop outreach strategies and programming to effectively engage a wide variety of Quest partners
Develop strategies to retain participating corporate teams year over year
Lead prospecting and outreach efforts to identified leads and opportunities
Work with Director of Corporate and Community partnerships to set and report on key KPIs on a regular basis
Work with Quest team to evaluate success of ongoing strategies and continuously refine them
Manage relationships and act as the point of contact for a number of key stakeholders
Create materials and assets as needed for conversations with potential fundraising teams and sponsors
Collaborate with Community Coordinator to execute community giveaways and other sponsor activations via social media
Collaborate with Quest team and assist with event planning and logistics
Assist with individual fundraiser recruitment and management as necessary
Other duties as required
You have:
1-2 years’ experience in business development with a track record of success
Experience building and executing brand activations in the gaming space
Proven ability to manage a sales funnel and hit established KPIs
Experience managing multiple relationships with external partners and serving as the point of contact
Experience working with influencers and streamers considered an asset
A passion for the games, gaming media and the streaming space
An outgoing personality and an eagerness to go beyond to deliver value for Quest partners
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Strong business acumen with an ability to design activations that drive strong value for both Quest and our partners
A strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent work experience.
