About the Role
At Barbecues Galore, our Warehouse Associates play an important role in keeping our stores stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active throughout the day, and being part of a hardworking team, this role is a great fit for you. This is an active role that involves regular lifting, standing, walking, and working in a warehouse environment throughout the day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Operating an electric and propane powered forklift
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer pickup and outbound delivery orders.
- Load products safely into delivery vehicles and customer cars.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and stock replenishment.
- Support regular inventory counts and tracking.
- Follow safe work practices, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to approximately 50 lbs independently, with heavier items handled using appropriate equipment or team assistance.
- CSA-approved steel-toed footwear is required.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and reliability.
- Flexible to work a schedule that may include weekends during our peak season.
- Minimum 1-year experience in forklift operation is considered an asset.
