We are seeking a full-time secretary to join our dental team in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring smooth administrative operations and delivering excellent patient service at our clinic.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments and schedules efficiently.
- Greet patients and handle front desk communications.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental management software.
- Assist with billing, insurance claims, and administrative documentation.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Handle phone inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Support inventory management of dental supplies.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with dental office management software such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of pediatric patient handling is a plus.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks related to billing and insurance processing.
