Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide high-quality care to individuals in their private homes. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and hygienic living space
- Support clients with activities related to dementia care or other cognitive impairments
- Help clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
- Document care provided and report any changes in health status to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities as needed
Experience
- Previous experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dementia care and medication administration is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations compassionately
- Familiarity with cleaning routines and meal preparation for diverse dietary requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.89-$29.41 per hour
