Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including interviewing and hiring new team members
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Manage POS systems such as Square for order processing and cash handling
- Lead team management efforts by providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor food safety practices and compliance with health regulations
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist in food industry-related tasks such as food presentation, serving, and hospitality services
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining operational standards
Requirements
- Proven restaurant management experience with strong leadership capabilities in the food industry
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, food safety, and kitchen experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar platforms for transactions and cash handling
- Experience supervising staff, conducting interviews, and managing teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example in a team-oriented setting
- Previous experience in food service, serving, or related roles such as barista experience or hotel experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
